Parking
The University has very strict parking regulations. Please follow the directions below to avoid being stuck with a ticket! You can also check out the Department of Transportation Services web site for more information. If You Get A Ticket
Please DO NOT contact the football office. We have no control over the parking rules, and cannot get a ticket voided for you. Instead, please go to the Ticket Information page on the Department of Transporation Services web site and follow the directions. Transportation Services will usually void the first or second ticket. However, there is no guarantee this will happen. If your request is denied, you will be required to pay for the ticket. Unpaid parking tickets can result in a hold being put on your car registration! FREE parking in Lot Z and Lot 1 after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends. Lot Z is located next to the tennis courts (directly across from Tyser Tower Press Box) and Lot 1 is next to and behind Lot Z. Do not park in Lot R (Football complex parking lot) at any time. This lot is reserved for cars with valid permits 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Instead, please park in the Union Lane Garage which is available between 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on weekdays. Union Lane Garage is located between the Student Union and Cole Field House. This is a pay garage and costs $1.00 per hour. Game Day Parking
Campus lots close to the stadium open 4 hours before kickoff. However, all of these lots also require a permit or a $5.00 charge. Free parking is available, but these lots are farther away. Those of you who are in the Terrapin Club can purchase game-day parking passes through the Terrapin Club office. All game-day parking questions should be directed to the athletic ticket office at 800-462-8377. |
